The 18-year-old is a defensive midfielder and spent 1,274 minutes on the field for Corinthians in 2023. Mascorda’s defensive contributions are what impressed these many European clubs. He contested 8.4 defensive duels, 2.6 aerial duels and 2.8 loose ball duels per 90 minutes each. The winning rate is 61.3% for defensive duels, 67.6% for aerial duels and 44.7% for loose ball duels.
