The French gift scored a hat-trick from the Parisian’s 5-1 semi-final win over Lyon from the Coupe de France, much to his trainer’s delight.
Thomas Tuchel praised hat-trick hero Kylian Mbappe for his reply after finding it”difficult” against Borussia Dortmund, together with the forwards’ partnership alongside Neymar crucial to Paris Saint-Germain.
With PSG lining up in an unknown 4-3-3 formation, Mbappe fought to make an impact during the first leg of this last-16 Champions League tie away in Dortmund last month.
However, because the 2-1 defeat in Europe, France global Mbappe has flourished in national activity, scoring six goals in three matches.
Mbappe’s hat-trick on Wednesday helped PSG advancement into the Coupe de France final in style, with head coach Tuchel thrilled at the 21-year-old’s screen in the 5-1 thrashing of Lyon.

“He is very powerful, he uses his pace very well, he is very decisive. He is really in good form.”
Neymar also scored in the rout, turning a second-half penalty after Marcal was deemed to have handled the ball in the area midweek.
The Lyon defender received a second yellow card as punishment, allowing PSG to cut loose from 10 men. Mbappe added two more goals following his first-half equaliser, while Pablo Sarabia also scored late on.
Tuchel pointed to Neymar as the catalyst for the group to create these”extraordinary performances”, the Brazilian profiting from playing regularly after coming out of a rib issue.
“Neymar was very powerful, he is still dangerous. For him, the main thing is that he plays with, ” the former Dortmund boss said.
“He is a player who assists us to perform extraordinary performances, with extraordinary results. He must play, and it is great that he played 90 minutes.
“It is also great to have another game to play Dortmund against Strasbourg. He needs that, he’s got the capacity to play a whole lot, and if he plays with a lot, he’s super strong.”
Neymar scored PSG’s goal against Dortmund however criticised the way the club managed his injury after the defeat, insisting he’d wanted to play before the visit to Germany.
